| It's official! Atlanta, here I come! |

This afternoon I got the official OK from work to temporarily move to Atlanta! I've been traveling to Huntsville, AL a lot for work this year. I've spent 7 of the last 11 weeks there. I'm tired of being away from home so much! So I decided it would be much easier if I was living closer to, but not in, Huntsville. Atlanta came to mind. When I'm in Sunnyvale I work from home anyway so it doesn't really matter where I live. The move will happen mid-May. I'm putting most of my stuff in storage here and just taking the essentials (sling, toys, etc.) with me. I'll probably be in Atlanta till the end of the project I'm working on which should be 4-5 months. When I move back to the bay area hopefully I'll be able to live in SF.
But the best part of this move will be the person I'm renting a room from. Thank you Ken ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ufcub for letting me stay at your place! I really appreciate this. You are a true friend!!!
So my official farewell, and birthday (May 10th) party, will be at MegaWoof in SF on Saturday May 12th. Come help me celebrate and feel free to give me a birthday spanking...or two! |

Thank you! I think the worst part of the move will be driving across the country. Though I will get to see a lot of the country I've never seen before! But the best part of the move will be having Ken as a roommate!

Thank you! I have to admit I'm a bit apprehensive of this move. The only other big move I've done in my life was when I was 18 and moved to Santa Cruz to go to college.
But...but that's a long time! Well, if that means you moving to SF upon your return, then I'm all for it. :) Give ufcub a few naughty gropes and licks from me. I'll put Megawoof on my calendar, but I haven't been to a bar in 8 months due to all this...but who knows? For you I might fight that drunk, furry crowd! :)
I'll see Ken in a couple of weekends on my next business trip to Huntsville. I'll be sure to give him your "love"!
MegaWoof should be fun! It would be good to see you before I leave! But I'll be back for Dore and Lazy Bear!
It'll be a pleasure to have you there, Don. You're one of my dearest friends, and I'm sure that friendship can only deepen by being roomies. It's funny, the last time I had a roommate, I think I was like 19. So 11 years later... it'll be a very interesting experience for sure!

This past year was the 1st time in my life where I had a place to myself. And as much as I liked it, I actually missed having a roommate. I'm really going to enjoy sharing your condo. I can't think of anyone I'd rather have as my roomie!
